prepared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The certificate examination in Polish as a foreign language in a group adapted to the needs of adults may be taken by persons who on the day of the examination have completed&nbsp;<strong>18 years.<\/strong><\/li><li>The certificate examination in Polish as a foreign language in a group adapted to the needs of children and adolescents may be young people<\/strong> <strong>checks proficiency<\/strong> <strong>in the use of Polish language in relation to the universal skills indicators adopted for B1 level in the <em>Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, teaching, assessment<\/em><\/strong> (Warsaw 2003).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exam<\/strong> <strong>aimed at younger people<\/strong> candidates <strong>differs from the adult exam in the subject matter of the texts <\/strong>and<strong> type of tasks and instructions,<\/strong> which have been adapted to the needs and developmental capabilities of school-age pupils. <strong>The number of tasks making up some of the modules of the examination and the time allowed for solving them are also different<\/strong>. In addition, for the adult exam, proficiency in <strong>reading comprehension<\/strong> and <strong>grammatical correctness<\/strong> is checked within two separate modules. In contrast, <strong>A test tailored to the needs of children and adolescents tests these competences within one<\/strong>, <strong>integrated module<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To pass the examination<\/strong> in a tailor-made group <strong>children and young people<\/strong> is <strong>obtaining at least 50% points in the written part and 50% points in the oral part <\/strong>exam. By contrast, <strong>a condition for passing the examination for <\/strong>persons<strong> adults is to obtain at least 50% points from each module of the written part of the<\/strong> exam <strong>and<\/strong> <strong>oral<\/strong> examination (cf. <em>Regulation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on examinations in Polish as a foreign language<\/em> of 26 February
