PROCEDURES FOR HANDLING REQUESTS FOR REVIEW OF WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I. Legal basis<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A. Act of 12 June 2015 amending the Act on the Polish language and the functioning of pension funds<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Art. 11h (4) A person who has taken the examination may, within 21 days of receiving information about the result of the examination, apply to the Commission for a review of the written part of the examination. The amount of the fee for processing the application is 20 Euro or its equivalent in PLN (transfer details<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Article 11k, paragraph 1, point 11. The tasks of the Commission shall be to coordinate and ensure the proper functioning of the system of certification of proficiency in Polish as a foreign language, including consideration of requests for re-examination of the written part of the examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The completed application form should be sent by post or submitted in person at the NAWA headquarters (ul. Polna 40, 00-635 Warsaw).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

B. Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 26 February 2016 on examinations in Polish as a foreign language<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Article 26 (1) In the case referred to in Article 11h (4) of the Act, the Commission:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. reassess the examination paper;
    inform the person concerned of the result of the reassessment of the examination paper;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. informs the chairman of the examination board of<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. irregularity identified as a result of the re-evaluation of the examination paper and invites him\/her to submit an explanation within a set deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    II. Rules for examining requests for re-examination of the written part of the examination<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. A candidate who disagrees with the marks awarded shall apply to the Commission for a review of the written part of the examination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. The request should be made in writing within 21 days of being informed of the result of the examination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. The proposal includes:\n
        \n
      1. the passer's personal details (name, date of birth, mailing address);<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Examination data (date of examination, level, date of receipt of information on the result of the examination, name of the examination centre);<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. indicate, if any, the part of the work with which the applicant disagrees and the reasons for this;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. signature of the applicant or of the person authorised to represent him\/her (attaching the document authorising such person to represent the applicant);<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Annex - proof of payment of the fee for the retesting of the written part of the examination.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. Formal verification of the application is carried out by the review team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      7. An application will not be considered by the Commission if it has been submitted after the statutory deadline (in the case of applications sent by post, the postmark date will be decisive).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      8. If an application has been submitted within the statutory deadline, but does not contain the required data necessary for its consideration, an attachment - proof of payment of the fee - or contains obvious mistakes, the Commission, via the National Agency for Academic Exchange, shall request the applicant to supplement the documentation within 14 days of receipt of the request, under pain of leaving the application unprocessed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      9. The application shall be considered by the Commission within 30 days of its receipt or receipt of the supplements referred to in point 6 in the following manner:\n
          \n
        1. The formally correct application together with the examination paper shall be forwarded immediately by the National Academic Exchange Agency to the chairperson of the audit team. The written part of the examination paper is reassessed by at least two of its members. The team forwards the results of the audit to the Chairperson together with a justification within 20 days of the receipt of the application by the Committee;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. The Commission shall adopt a position on the application within 30 days of receipt of the application or additions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. In duly justified cases (e.g. when it is necessary to call on the assistance of other experts in the course of examining the application), the deadline for the examination may be extended, of which the Commission will inform the applicant in writing. However, the deadline may not exceed 60 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Pending the Commission's consideration of the application, the issue of the certificate is withheld.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. The Commission shall inform the applicant in writing of the result of the re-evaluation of the examination paper.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. The Commission shall inform the Chairperson of the Examination Board of the irregularity found as a result of the re-evaluation of the written part of the work and shall invite him\/her to submit an explanation within a specified time limit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          VIEW OF THE WORK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 26 February 2016 on examinations in Polish as a foreign language<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \u00a7 25 (1) The authorised entity shall provide the examinee with information on the result of the examination in written form within three days of the date on which the examination board delivers the examination report to the examinee.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          (2) At the request of the passer submitted within 21 days from the date of receipt of information on the result of the examination, the authorised entity which organised the examination is obliged to make a copy of the examination paper available to the passer for inspection.<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
