Since that day, NAWA has been adhering to the principles defined in the GDPR.<\/p>\n<p>General Data Protection Regulation <em>Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95\/46\/EC.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is the data controller?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The controller of your personal data is the National Academic Exchange Agency<br \/>\n(ul. Polna 40, 00-635 Warsaw). Our contact details: biuro@nawa.gov.pl, +48 22 390 35 00.<\/p>\n<p>The data controller is responsible for the security of the personal data provided and for processing it in accordance with the law.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FOR WHAT PURPOSE AND ON WHAT LEGAL BASIS DO WE USE THE DATA?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will use your personal data for the following purposes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>concluding and performing a contract, including ensuring the correct quality of the tasks carried out by the Data Controller (legal basis - Article 6(1)(b) of the DPA) - \u201eperformance of the contract\u201d,<\/li>\n<li>performance of our legal obligations, arising in particular from the Act of 7 July 2017 on the National Agency for Academic Exchange (legal basis \u2013 Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) \u2013 \u201elegal obligation\u201d,<\/li>\n<li>the performance of tasks carried out in the public interest by the Controller, in particular tasks performed in connection with the Act of 7 July 2017 on the National Agency for Academic Exchange (legal basis - Article 6(1)(e) RODO) - \u201epublic interest\u201d,<\/li>\n<li>marketing, where you have given your consent to the use of your data for this purpose (legal basis - Article 6(1)(a) RODO) - \u201econsent\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How long will we use the data?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will use the data for the period necessary for the purposes described above. Depending on the legal basis, this will be respectively:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>contract duration,<\/li>\n<li>the duration of legal obligations and the time for which we are required by law to retain the data, e.g. tax legislation,<\/li>\n<li>time spent on tasks carried out in the public interest,<\/li>\n<li>time until you withdraw your consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You may apply to NAWA for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>access to personal data (information on the personal data processed and a copy of the data),<\/li>\n<li>correction of data when it is incorrect,<\/li>\n<li>data portability, in the cases specified in the RODO,<\/li>\n<li>The right to erasure or restriction of processing of personal data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the law.<\/p>\n<p>Consent given for the processing of personal data for marketing purposes may be withdrawn at any time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TO WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Subject to all data security guarantees, we may pass on your data - in addition to persons authorised by the Data Controller - to other entities, including entities that process them on our behalf, such as technical service providers and entities that provide us with consultancy services.<\/p>\n<p>Your data may also be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area (to countries other than the European Union member states, as well as Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein), provided that the conditions specified in Chapter V of the GDPR are met.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US REGARDING PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NAWA has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted via email: <a href=\"mailto:odo@nawa.gov.pl\">odo@nawa.gov.pl<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CO TO JEST RODO?
