In accordance with Article 11a(7). Laws on the Polish language the person referred to in paragraph 4 shall be issued with a certificate attesting to his/her knowledge of Polish as a foreign language at the proficiency level - respectively in the case of:
- to obtain a doctorate degree – C2;
- completion:
- First-cycle studies - B2;
- Second-cycle studies - C1;
- unified Master's studies – C1;
- completion of the school referred to in paragraph 4, point 2, letters b, c, da and e - B2;
- completion of school or forms of education referred to in paragraph 4, point 2, letters d and f - B1.
The above entries relate to applications submitted from 9 June 2026. Applications submitted before this date will be processed in accordance with the existing regulations.
