State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language begins its activities
The State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language (PKPZJPjO), which has conducted 238 examinations for more than 10,000 people in Poland and around the world since 2004, has ended its activities after 12 years and handed over the certification system to the newly established State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language (PKdsPZJPjO).

On 10 May 2016, the members of the new commission received their appointments at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the first working meeting of the commission was set for 21 May this year.
