On 5 May 2020, the first meeting of the new State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language, established on the basis of the Decree of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of 11 December 2015, was held. The term of office of the new Commission covers the years 2020-2024.
The meeting, in a teleconference format, was opened by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Wojciech Murdzek, and attended by all members of the Commission, as well as representatives of the National Agency for Academic Exchange. At the teleconference meeting, the President and Secretary of the Commission were elected.
The tasks of the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language include setting the schedule of examination sessions, supervising the creation of examination sheets, examining the correctness of the assessment of examinations, providing training for examiners and issuing certificates.
