Recruitment of candidates for examiners eligible to act as chairs of examination boards will close on 25.10.2017.
The State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language, at its meeting on 9 October 2017, decided to announce a call for candidates for examiners authorised to act as chairpersons of examination boards. The training will take place on 24-26.11.17 and 9-10.12.17.
The scope of the training will cover theoretical issues related to the application of basic ethical and quality standards in the assessment process, but above all practical issues related to the construction and conduct of the examination and standardisation of assessment. The training ends with a practical exam.
The acceptance and referral of candidates for training will be decided by the Commission on the basis of applications for entry on the list of examiners authorised to act as chairpersons of examination committees. The application (in accordance with the procedure and requirements set out in Article 11f of the Act of 12 June 2015 amending the Polish Language Act and the Act on the organisation and functioning of pension funds), together with documentation confirming the required qualifications, should be sent by email or traditional post to the secretariat of the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language. A specimen application form is annexed to the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 11 December 2015 on the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language.
The number of places is limited, the order in which applications are received is decisive.
Interested parties will be notified by email of the outcome of the call once it has been completed.
